1.What is slavery??
Slavery means forced logout or to trick someone to work for them and pay them less than required money for them to live. Many people in this world are victims of modern slavery. In India there is the most slavery in the world people are begging on the streets for food. Indian slaves are paid less than ₹200 a month. Their family also suffer with this fraud. It is estimated 45.8 million people of 167 countries are the victims of slavery. The government of each country is trying their best to reduce the number of slaves in their country.
2. History of slavery in the world
In the ancient times slavery started in Egypt where the prisoners from wars were made slaves and serve the royal families.
Later in the midevial period the slavery declined in europe but persisted in the form of serfdom. Vikings engaged in slave trade, capturing and selling people from British Isles and Slavic regions.
Even now during the modern time slavery continues now in many types, human trafficking, child labor etc. The government has made law against it but it is hard to execute it.
3.Problems faced by the victims of slavery
People effected by slavery don get enough money to survive, most of the slaves are suffering from various diseases. They dont get enough food so they are not able to work properly. Most people who are slaves are in debt or loan.These people have to work 24 hours a day without any breaks. Unn
Many slaves die due to working too much or not getting enough food. Children of the slaves also will not get proper nourishment which will make the child hard to survive. Many slaves are not aware of vaccination so these people may also have many diseases.
